Working on a new website

Because of the problems I've had with webs.com lately, I am building a new website and have registered a domain name. I will have more details once it is finished. I'm hoping to have it up and running by Monday, but...I do have some school assignments that must be done first.

Thanks to Mae Powers, I have a wonderful new blurb for Tales From Imagination's Closet. See below

What if you dared to look close into the never-ending, mysterious closet of an
author's imagination? In these series of stories M. Allman will do just
that--and make you laugh, cry, gasp, or leave you wondering with shiver and
delight. So dare to read...Tales From Imagination's Closet.

So Little Time

Since school has resumed, I have less time to work on all my writing projects. I'm putting the children's book on the "back burner" until I finish my second anthology of short stories and get a little further along with the YA novels. I hope resume work on the picture books and have the first one out by mid to late summer.

My second books of short stories, untitled at the moment, is again the 'What if...'  or speculative type of stories. I have five short stories written for the book and have some many ideas to work with for the others.  I love that to write in that particular genre because there is no limit to what I can create.

The two young adult novels are in the very early stages. One is a mystery and the other sci-fi. They are a work in progress and subject to change,so I'm giving out very little details at this time.

Tales from Imagination's Closet is scheduled for release in March. It will be in both PDF and print format.

Playing Catch Up!

The next few months are going to be extremely busy, and I, being only human--I think-- have fallen behind.

Fictitious Magazine issue 2, the comedy issue, will still be up on May 1, 2011. I have numerous submissions to read, so if you haven't gotten a response at this time, you will by the end of this month. I am very sorry for the delay.

Classes began last week, so this is one reason why I'm a bit behind. I have lots of reading and paper writing in my future.

March! Tales from Imaginations Closet will be out. The short stories are all speculative fiction that mixes with comedy, drama, sci-fi, and mystery.

April! My short story, "Viral Smiles," will be available in print in The Other Herald. You can buy  issues of the magazine at http://www.etsy.com/shop/tfrice if you don't want to suscribe.

I'm still working on my children's books the first one is coming along and hopefully will be out by spring. *fingers crossed*

Happy Reading!
